Commander, Armoured Corps, Nigerian Army, Major General Mohammed Magaji has lamented that many of the vital Armoured vehicles that would have aided the ongoing fight against insurgency in the country have been abandoned to the state of dilapidation over the years. The Commander, Major General Mohammed Magaji expressed the lamentation when he commissioned some landmark projects at the Obienu Barracks in Bauchi towards strengthening the Corps security as well as improve its capacity for administrative purposes. Projects commissioned and unveiled included the refurbishment and repair of 22 ‘B’ vehicles, which has indeed contributed immensely to the accomplishment of tasks of the Corps. At the commissioning ceremony, senior military and paramilitary officers from the state were present to add colour to the event.
