Debabrato Sarkar, the national aviation authority’s technical assistant in Chattogram, lodged the case in the Patenga Police Station on Monday. Polash Ahmed and a few other unidentified suspects were named in the case, said Patenga Police OC Utpal Barua. He was killed in a commando operation in Chattogram’s Shah Amanat International Airport which put an end to the hijacking drama. Passengers were evacuated from the plane after landing in Chattogram’s Shah Amanat International Airport. RAB spokesman Mufti Mahmud Khan said the suspect’s fingerprints had matched an entry in its criminal database.
