The motive for the killing is not yet knownA businessman has been stabbed to death in Belgharia bridge area of Kushtia. He was attacked, and killed, around 10pm on Thursday. The deceased, Omar Sheikh, 57, was a garment businessman living in the Ziarokhi union area of Sadar upazila. Kushtia model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nasir Uddin said: “We are investigating the murder. The dead body has been transferred to Kushtia General Hospital's morgue for autopsy.”
