The IGP stated this at the tower on Friday afternoon, a day after it was engulfed in a deadly blaze that claimed 25 lives. If the state requests it, then police will file a case on their behalf.”Earlier, DMP Gulshan branch Deputy Commissioner Mostak Ahmed said 21 police teams will enter the FR Tower once the Fire Services complete the handover. Until now, 25 people have been reported dead, and 70 more injured, in the devastating fire that broke out at FR Tower around 12:52pm on Thursday.
