Read more: Irwell Works Brewery Ramsbottom tenant goes into liquidationSara said: “It was the tenant who went bust not us and we own Irwell Works Brewery. “Five years ago, we rented it out to a tenant, and unfortunately, they went bust and their company was called Irwell Works Brewing. “This building was built in 1888 for a local coppersmith so our first five beers were a nod to the building as it used to be Irwell steam, tin, copper and iron works so our first beers were called steam, tin, copper and iron. “We try to keep everything local, we buy local and use local produce as much as we can and are very keen on promoting Ramsbottom as a vibrant town.”
