Johnny Brazil, 26, battered Joyce Burgess in her own home last July after gaining entry by asking for a glass of water. Brazil, from Epsom, today pleaded guilty to manslaughter and aggravated robbery charges at Guildford Crown Court where he will be sentenced in August. The thug, who will be remanded in custody, fled Ms Burgess' home in Woking before police arrested him as their chief suspect eight days later. Ms Burgess' son Ian paid tribute to his mother following the incident and said: 'She loved her travelling and has been to most parts of the world and has done some amazing things.
