Known to fatherBunty (27) came in contact with the victim, Munawar Hasan, seven years ago. “Hasan had approached Bunty’s father to get a gate constructed for a disputed land he had acquired in Alipur. Together they would intervene in disputed property, make their accomplices file PILs and then either grab it or buy it at reduced prices,” said a police officer. ‘Not given dues’Bunty allegedly told the police that Hasan had been using him to threaten and grab disputed properties but not giving him the fair dues. Bunty also provided men for Hasan’s security after he recieved threats from rivals in north-east Delhi where he earlier lived.
