KUALA LUMPUR: Kinabatangan MP Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin and his celebrity wife Datin Seri Zizie Ezette A. Samad are claiming trial at two Sessions Courts on charges of corruption, amounting to RM2.8mil over Felcra Bhd's investment in unit trusts worth RM150mil. Bung, in his capacity as a non-executive chairman of Felcra, was charged with three counts of obtaining for himself RM2.2mil, RM262,500 and RM337,500 from two unit trust agents through unit trust investment accounts registered under Zizie's name. The money, totalling RM2.8mil, was a reward for getting approval from the Finance Minister II for Felcra to invest RM150mil in Public Mutual Bhd.
