The student of Vivekananda Law College in Puttur, in the coastal Dakshina Kannada district, had posted a video clip on Instagram showing Shah delivering a speech at the college on Tuesday. He titled the video "Bundle Raaje #AmitShah", which was deemed derogatory by the college. In the local parlance, "bundle" denotes bluffing or bragging - so "Bundle Raaje" implies "Bluff King". After the Congress and the CPM raised a stink, the college allowed the student to attend classes on Monday. Mohan told this newspaper: "It was wrong on the part of the college management to see it as a disciplinary issue as the comment was not defamatory.
