Zach LaVine added 19 points on 7-for-15 shooting for the Bulls, who won for the third time in their past four games. The Bulls improved to 3-0 against the Hawks this season. The Bulls finished the first quarter with a 16-point lead and outscored the Hawks by five in the second quarter to make it a 21-point margin. Atlanta shot 37.2 percent (32 of 86) overall and only 26.5 percent (9 of 34) from long range.
