With this decision, the boxer-cum-comedian popularly known as Bukom Banku, has been banned from fighting until the licence is restored. He took 17,000 cedis from the chief executive of Box Office Promotions, Alex Ntiamoah, as part of training and purse allowance. It has also ordered the boxer to pay refund the 17,000 cedis he received as part of the contract with Box Office Promotions. Currently, the Box Office Promotion is engaged in negotiations with Banku’s new managers for a possible settlement plan.
