Hours before the end of his tenure, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), on Sunday, approved the conferment of a Special Award on the Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Sambo. Sambo was conferred with “Commander of the Order of the Niger” for his contributions to the country’s transportation sector, a statement signed by the minister on Sunday disclosed. This honour is much as theirs as it is mine. “May the new government usher in unending prosperity for us as individuals and as a nation at large.
