When Canada’s Liberal government tables its next budget on April 19, it can make up lost ground on our mediocre COVID-19 vaccine rollout by being bold on climate change. For too long, too many Canadians have been wrapped up in rhetoric and the stories we tell ourselves to make us feel better about climate change. That’s an example we can apply for ourselves, not only for pandemic relief but for addressing the climate crisis. So what practical, real action on climate should we look for in the budget?
