Fulham finished the half stronger, again transitioning quickly but struggling to get a clean shot away. Fulham remained a threat on the break and Willian had three opportunities in quick succession to try and produce an opening goal. Fulham were all over United now and again they went close from a corner, but Rodrigo Muniz headed over the bar. After Fulham’s spell of pressure, they now looked content just to cling on for a draw and it was United who dominated the closing stages.
