AP George Clooney's boycott of hotels owned by the Sultan of Brunei has been backed by other celebrities. Brunei's flagship, government-owned carrier, Royal Brunei Airlines, used to fly to Auckland but ended the service in 2011. Air New Zealand has been approached for comment on whether or not it has any agreements with Royal Brunei.
