Five boys grew up in the streets of Brooklyn, where they played street hockey together and hung out at the candy store. As they went through school, they met other friends. But instead of drifting apart, the five stayed close and opened up the group to others. The group grew to include 11 boys, all of whom met each other between the ages of 8 and 12. As they grew up, some of them got married, and their wives introduced their friends to members of the group, sparking relationships that led to other marriages.
