The Canucks have called up winger Darren Archibald from the Utica Comets. Canucks coach Travis Green confirmed after a practice at Rogers Arena on Tuesday that Brock Boeser is dealing with a groin problem. He said his groin has been bothering him since at least the game last Thursday in Winnipeg against the Jets. “We need an extra body,” Green told reporters after practice. Because Archibald cleared waivers on Oct. 2, he can be recalled and reassigned freely between the Canucks and the Comets until Nov. 2.
