Authorities say Trooper Kevin Conner was shot last week by the driver of a pickup truck during a traffic stop on a rural North Carolina highway. The Highway Patrol has identified Raheem Cole Dashanell Davis as the driver, and he also faces a first-degree murder charge. David said Askew was being held in South Carolina and would be brought to North Carolina soon.
