A honeymooning couple have revealed how they woke up to 'screams of terror' after a fire broke out at their five-star hotel. Ms Calvert suffered a panic attack before another guest, Geo Semple, came to their room to help and they decided to battle the smoke to escape. Ms Calvert said that panicking women were wrapping babies in towels to try and protect them from the smoke. Ms Calvert said: 'He was a hero, he saved quite a lot of people's lives. Once the couple were safely out of the hotel Ms Calvert was put on oxygen in a nearby ambulance and taken to a local hospital.
