The fan favourite has even learned he's not a bastard but a Targaryen who should be heir to what's left of the Iron Throne. This included revealing to Jon that he was indeed a Targaryen and the true heir to the Iron Throne. He has only been a minor character throughout the series however, and so his likelihood of sitting on the Iron Throne remains slim.
