The British Council is set to reopen its offices in Bangladesh on Monday, two months after it was temporarily closed in order to review its security procedures. According to the press release issued by the British Council on Sunday, all public-facing operations and services will resume across the country the same day. “After the temporary closure to carry out necessary renovation works, The British Council is now ready to welcome everyone back to their premises in Chittagong, Sylhet and Dhaka,” stated the press note. Private candidates can apply through British Council website www.britishcouncil.org.bd. This is for all candidates in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Rajshahi and Khulna,” it reads.
