Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is apparently very fond of Sonam Kapoor and wanted her to be part of all his projects. So when he started working on Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, he insisted that she work with him on the film. He has stated before that he finds Sonam to be one of the most talented actors of our time. Sonam Kapoor plays the role of Nirmal Kaur in the movie, the captain of the Indian women’s volleyball team, who inspires and turns the tide in Milkha Singh’s life. Those who have seen the film say Sonam Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar have incredible chemistry in it.
