In West Africa the social enterprise operates in multiple Nigerian states and in ten of Liberia’s counties, supporting hundreds of government schools and serving tens of thousands of children. The programme has previously recognised organisations across the world for their social impact. In 2018, CreditEase received the Best Credit Social Impact award for their investments designed to support 20,000 farmers’ living conditions through the lending platform YiNongDai in China. Bridge is using technology to leapfrog education quality and access in West Africa and the award is recognition of the progress that the social enterprise is making in bringing new social impact investment to the transformation of education in marginalised communities.
