They not only made the final but ended up winning the final three Pinty’s Grand Slam events of last season and defeated Mike McEwen in the final to capture a World Curling Tour event Monday in Penticton. The night before, Bottcher scored his first four points on steals to win the final round-robin game against Epping 7-3 to win last rock advantage in the semi.
