Brenda Warren's life has changed dramatically following mini gastric bypass surgery in November and on Sunday she celebrated those changes at the City 2 Surf fun run and walk in Christchurch. The Timaru woman says she has lost 29kg since the single anastomosis gastric bypass at St George's Hospital, in Christchurch. The surgery, also known as a mini gastric bypass, reduced the size of her stomach by separating a tube-like pouch of stomach from the rest of her stomach.
