The Breakers finally won a game down the business end of the Australian NBL season, but the pity was their commanding 96-81 Saturday night victory over the Illawarra Hawks in Wollongong meant practically nothing. Rob Beveridge's Hawks – their own playoff hopes having hit the skids this weekend – drop to 12-15, and will back up against the Breakers in Wellington on Thursday for their regular season finale. But equally as important was Wesley's powerful showing as he pretty much had his way with the Hawks bigs on the low block.
