RIO DE JANEIRO - Brazil's general prosecutor Rodrigo Janot on Tuesday accused former presidents Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff of creating a "criminal organization," local media reported. The court now needs to decide whether prosecution of Rousseff and Lula will go ahead. Current president Michel Temer, who took over from Rousseff, also is reportedly in Janot's sights. Since 2014, the corruption investigation known as "Operation Carwash" has alleged wide-reaching corruption among Brazil's top politicians. A recent survey showed that 94 per cent of all Brazilians believe their politicians are not doing a good job.
