A Brampton man is dead after he was beaten with sticks by two suspects on Monday afternoon. At around 5:50 p.m., Peel police say they received a call for the assault in the Sandalwood Pkwy. Witnesses in the area told police that a man was getting beaten by two people with sticks, said Const. When police arrived, they located 21-year-old Paviter Singh Bassi suffering with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital where he later died early Tuesday morning.
