The unnamed child remains in a stable condition in hospital following the incident yesterday afternoon in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, which saw him sustain multiple stab wounds to his face and head. The victim was taken to Peterborough City Hospital then transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. "While this appears to be a random attack, we believe this was an isolated incident and have not received any further reports of this nature."
