The force said in a statement: "A teenage boy has been stabbed in Kingstanding this evening (31 May). "We have immediately launched a murder investigation and have flooded the area with officers to search for the offenders." The latest Bank Holiday tragedy comes after a flower stall owner was stabbed to death in north London as he tried to stop a mugging. A murder investigation has been launched after he tragically died at the scene.
