Presuming nothing out of the ordinary, think a $191m seven-day cume, an over/under $70 million weekend and a $261m ten-day total. And in terms of worldwide box office, it should theoretically cross $600m on Friday and take a crack at $750m-plus by Sunday. Yes, Captain Marvel will probably top $1 billion worldwide before it's done, but let's not get too upset if it frontloads and ends up closer to $950m. We can debate to what extent these films will serve as competition ("Oh no... Captain Marvel is sold out! Comparatively, The Hunger Games' biggest competition after its second weekend was the 3-D reissue of Titanic and (in its fifth weekend) Think Like A Man.
