Cross-border students and business travelers arriving in Hong Kong will be exempted from the 14-day mandatory quarantine, the Secretary for Health Sophia Chan said today. The gradual easing of some travel and health restrictions comes as there were no further reports of coronavirus infections for a third day in a row in the city. At the same time, quarantine requirements for others arriving from mainland China and Macau have been extended unitl June 7. The mandatory quarantine of 14 days for travelers was to end on May 7. Health declaration requirement was also extended to August 31.
