After receiving a huge response, the four-day long bonsai exhibition will end on Sunday. Organised by Rajshahi Bonsai Society at Dhaka’s Cadet College Club premises in Gulshan, the fair has made a sale of Tk3 lakh during its first three days. A huge crowd of nature enthusiasts gathered to explore and purchase a total of 157 bonsai tree of 50 species, displayed at the exhibition, with prices ranged between Tk1000 and Tk100,000. Among the species, native banyan, Tamarind, Kamini, Long Island, Bangkok Bougainvillea, and Ficus are on display. Rajshahi Bonsai Society General Secretary Sarwar Morshed said different types of Bonsai were put on display considering different preferences of people and the organisers have tried to keep the price at an affordable level.
