Bombers make signing of OT Jermarcus Hardrick official

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers didn’t wait long to get one of their key anchors of their offensive line under contract for next season. Despite predicted off-season of turmoil, in which many players are expected to refrain from signing contracts due to a looming labour dispute, the Bombers officially signed offensive tackle Jermarcus Hardrick to a one-year extension just three days after the Grey Cup. “I’ve said it many times, but I love this organization, my teammates, and just being in Winnipeg,” Hardrick said in a statement released by the team. Some players have been instructed by their agents to not sign contracts until a new Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CFL Players Association and the CFL can be negotiated. However, the Bombers managed to work around that with Hardrick and are expected to do so with Bryant as well, in the near future.
