While mythological film, Bahubali: The Conclusion, has been making waves in India, Bollywood star Aamir Khan's wrestling drama Dangal has become the highest-grossing Indian film--thanks largely to its success in China. The sports drama about a wrestler-father who trains his two daughters in rural India to win international accolades was co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions along with India's UTV Motion Pictures. Aamir Khan does not believe in churning out multiple movies a year either as a star or a producer. As for China, Aamir Khan was already a big hit with movies like 3 Idiots, Dhoom 3 and PK – which have gone on to become big box office successes. Outside of this, a current film on the India-China war of 1962 (Tubelight) features a Chinese actress - Zhu Zhu - alongside Bollywood star Salman Khan.
