Holman Jenkins’s “Boeing Emails Explain Nothing” (Business World, Jan. 15) on the irrelevance of the Boeing emails does a fine job of dismissing the media reporting of the 737 Max scandal. The most significant point he makes is: “Where are the emails referring to the last-minute changes that disastrously increased its scope of action, that allowed it to intervene during low-speed maneuvers right after takeoff, that made it repeatedly triggerable by a single, fallible data input?” Yes, a single fallible data input.
