Provincial police say the body of a man found this morning on the side of highway 13 is possibly a homicide linked to drug trafficking. Police received a call at around 11:30 a.m., saying that a man was seriously injured on the side of the road. Police say Soew had been kidnapped from a Tutti Frutti restaurant, situated in the Méga-Centre Notre-Dame in Sainte-Dorothée, a district in the western tip of Laval, a short time earlier. "What I can confirm is that there is a link between the kidnapping that took place and the discovery of this body on Highway 13 today," said SQ spokeswoman Joyce Kemp. Investigators were on the scene for several hours, prompting the closure of the Highway 13's northbound lanes between between Highway 440 and Highway 640.
