Ottawa Police's major crimes unit is investigating after a body was found in the Rideau River near the south Ottawa community of Osgoode on Wednesday morning. The body was discovered around 11:15 a.m. in the water off the 3600 block of River Road, between the rural communities of Kars and Manotick. Police dive teams are on site and have entered the water. Major Crimes investigators would not comment on the investigation.
