Headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Nur Kutubul Alam, the three-member probe body was formed on Tuesday night, confirmed Deputy Commissioner Dr AKM Kamruzzaman Selim. Three people, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed, on Tuesday, in a clash between BGB personnel and locals of Haripur area of Thakurgaon. Another 28 people, including two BGB troopers, were injured in the clash. Meanwhile, a tense situation prevails in-and-around the area, following the incident. Additional policemen have been deployed to the area to avert further trouble, said Mohammad Amiruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Haripur police station.
