Disney CEO Bob Iger has been abruptly replaced as the head of the iconic company. 'It's a tremendous honor for me to assume the role of CEO of the Walt Disney company,' Chapek said on the conference call. Before that he was chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts since 2015. In April the company said it plans to reach 60 million to 90 million Disney+ subscribers globally by 2024. In the short term, Disney parks in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China, remain closed because of the coronavirus outbreak.
