While the Nier: Automata developers future looks rosier now than it has before, the studio really found its groove in 2009 with Bayonetta, as well as its criminally-overlooked immediate successor, Vanquish, in 2010. Bayonetta is undoubtedly the highlight here, and is reason alone to pick up this collection. Despite all this, it still struggles under the same lack of narrative spark as Bayonetta, albeit for a different reason. While Bayonetta hogs the spotlight somewhat (and rightfully so), Vanquish is not to be underestimated. Bayonetta and Vanquish 10 Year Anniversary bundle is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for £34.99.
