For most of the past two seasons, Marcus Stroman wouldn’t look Aaron Sanchez in the eye, much less mention him in a flattering way. Sanchez prides himself on being a good teammate and recognizes the importance of having a deep, successful rotation on a young and rebuilding team. He politely didn’t want to get into details of his past with Stroman beyond acknowledging things are more positive now. For the team to have any success this season, Sanchez and Stroman have to be at their best and recovered from frustrating injuries. And then there’s the team unity thing that is happening with the Jays five-man rotation, one that goes beyond Stroman and Sanchez.
