When Aaron Sanchez reflected on what went wrong in a five-run fourth inning against the White Sox last Sunday, there was one pitch — or lack thereof — that stood out. “I probably should have went back to (my curveball) a little bit more instead of trying to go to a change,” the Blue Jays right-hander said post-game. “I think it was effective all night.” The pitch has been a solid complement to the sinker Sanchez deploys most often. “Those guys (Stroman and Sanchez) were available last winter and everybody knew that if you wanted to make the Jays an offer they would absolutely listen,” Olney said.
