THE Philippine Blu Girls snapped out of a five-game skid, repelling world No. 10 Mexico, 4-2, in the World Cup of Softball XII at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma Saturday. “The Blu Girls have been putting a great fight against some tough rivals in the World Cup. The Pinays and the Mexicans face off again in the ranking match Sunday noon (early Monday in Manila). The Blu Girls will next see action in the Canada Cup International Softball Championship in Surrey, British Columbia where it will clash with Pakistan and host Canada on July 11, and Chinese Taipei on July 12 at Softball City.
