Razon-led Bloomberry Resorts Corp. (BRC) incurred a consolidated loss of P780.8 million in the first quarter as the quarantine restrictions continued to impact its operations. BRC’s consolidated net revenue for the period likewise slumped by 41 percent to P5.5 billion from P9.4 billion last year. Solaire’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) for the quarter ended 44-percent lower to P6.9 billion from P12.2 billion in the same period of 2020. BRC’s consolidated non-gaming revenue also dropped 49 percent to P872.9 million in the first three months of the year from P1.7 billion year-on-year. Solaire’s hotel, food and beverages, and retail have not been accepting guests since last March 29, according to the company.
