MIRI: A timber company contractor has gone missing whilst leading a team of loggers into the deep jungles of Kapit district in central Sarawak. The contractor was reported missing in the jungles of Ulu Sungai Melatai at about 7pm on May 1. They said they received an emergency alert on May 1 at about 7pm from the timber camp workers about the missing contractor. "The contractor was with a team of 10 workers who went into the Ulu Sg Melatai forests on April 30. "On May 1, the workers came out to the timber camp and said the contractor had missing while they were doing their work inside the jungle.
