While best known for his television deals, Saban actually got his start in the music industry, 2017 Greg DohertyBillionaire Haim Saban, perhaps best known for his success with the Power Rangers, is moving into music. He announced today that he has pledged $500 million to found Saban Music Group. While Saban's $2.9 billion fortune was primarily made in television, he got his start in the music industry. (Despite the Latin connection between Univision and Saban Music Group, the companies will function completely separately). The deal reportedly valued the label, which owns the rights to Taylor Swift's masters, at over $300 million.
