KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Thursday has announced a rigorous party membership campaign in Punjab after Senate elections which will see the PPP holding rallies in different cities of the province. Sheikhupura, Kasur, Gujrat, Sargodha, Okara and other adjoining cities will be covered in the first phase of the campaign. Bilawal has sought final schedule of the public gatherings from the Punjab wing of PPP and directed them to get ready to exercise political muscles in the province. He also demanded equal political rights for PPP in Punjab, saying that workers of PPP are being killed and attacked in the province. Earlier, PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari had asserted to carry out electioneering alongside Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan and Punjab while his daughters Asifa Bhutto and Bakhtawar Bhutto would campaign in Sindh for General Elections 2018.
