The city will soon have another street mural that will stake a claim to being the biggest in Penang when completed. The 15.24m high and 7.62m wide mural depicting a woman is being painted by Canadian street artist Emmanuel Jarus (pic) on a facade of the 1st Avenue Mall at Magazine Road here. In big cities like Berlin, London or New York, the street art scene is established. A lot of my friends in the street art scene have been talking about Penang. “Penang is beginning (to establish itself in street art) and there are a lot less restrictions.
