(Police photo)RAYONG: Police arrested five suspected methamphetamine traffickers and seized 1.8 million speed pills in what they said was the biggest such haul in the eastern provinces this year. Police initially seized 400,000 pills from the gang in a sting operation on Highway 344 in Wang Chan district on Friday. Pol Gen Chalermkiat said Mr Manote was the gang leader and ordered the methamphetamine pills from an accomplice who was jailed in Myanmar. The arrest was the biggest in terms of the number of pills in the East this year, he added.
